A Message from the Composer

As I continue through my undergrad experience, I’ve started to understand that life really is what you make it. Growing up, I thought that the borders of existence were so strict. Everything is black and white; You’re either right or you’re wrong. But as I start to become my own, I’ve found that opportunities are often not just passed out, but the ones worth grabbing take a whole lot of work. Relationships, career moves, social existence, well-being, and happiness all take a certain amount of dedication to grow into something greater. And every day reaches another with the hopes and dreams that move us forward. The expanse of everything can often be an overwhelming thought. But nobody here really knows what they are doing and maybe that’s something to hold on to. Life has crazy twists & turns and we try to make something out of the things given to us. We can find all those things promised to us here. When I am lost, I find beauty and hope in the things that surround me and I push through holding on to far away dreams. If you ask me, you should embrace being Lost in the Jungle.
